So, there was a bit of snow ...
...and the move got postponed.
But I go and visit this old house, as if going to a tryst, and take pictures of its imperfect beauty.

Not a bad size for a temporary canine facilities, right? I plan on eventually fencing in most of the property, so that the dogs can roam free, as it were. |
This picture is of the very first fire I built in this kitchen fire place of ours. Not an easy feat, I tell you. The weird thing with the fan that you see there is a thing that is supposed to increase the convection heat coming from the fireplace. One of the long-suffering-husband's things. It does seem to work though, as long as there is a good fire going, of course.
And last, but not least, I finally spotted some birds at the bird feeder:
